2025 CUSO Awards

NACUSO understands the importance collaboration, innovation, and sustainability play in building a strong and vibrant credit union industry. The CUSO model brings together a unique combination of leaders with a cooperative heart combined with business acumen that is unparalleled. We recognize these CUSOs annually at our conference to inspire others to continue ensuring our future is secure. CUSOs that have added value to their members, created an innovative solution to a problem, reduced operational costs, and increased income should be nominated. 

We recognize it can take time to grow your organization as a new CUSO, so our “New CUSO of the Year Award” salutes CUSOs established in the last 5 years.

The deadline to submit nominations has closed.

Winners will be announced on Wednesday, April 16 at the CUSO Awards Presentation held during Reimagine – A Strategic Growth Conference at Wynn, Las Vegas, NV.

All nominated CUSOs will be contacted by the NACUSO Awards Committee to schedule a brief interview between February 17-March 3, 2025. 

How to Nominate a CUSO:

  • Complete the online nomination form and submit it for review (only one nomination per form is permitted).
  • Only CUSOs established less than 5 years prior are eligible for the “New CUSO of the Year” Award.

Rules:

  • All nominations must be received by February 10.
  • Self-nominations are acceptable. 
  • Conference attendance is not required to apply. However, conference registration is necessary for all who plan to attend.
  • Previous year winners are ineligible.
  • Previous year nominees are welcome to re-apply.

Award Criteria/Selection Process:

  • NACUSO will contact the nominated CUSOs to schedule a 30-minute interview facilitated by members of the awards committee. Interviews will take place between February 17-March 3. This is a great way for the committee to learn more about the CUSO.
  • Anyone from the CUSO and the CU are welcome to participate in the interview with the nominating committee. 
  • After all interviews have been conducted, all nominees will be notified of their nomination status by March 17. 
  • Award winners will be announced on April 16 at the CUSO Awards Presentation held during Reimagine – A Strategic Growth Conference, Wynn, Las Vegas, NV.
